About Fullmetal Alchemist Sequel Films
Anime and manga set the story in early 20th century Japan, where alchemy had been practiced for thousands of years. So, in this series, Alphonse Elric and Edward Elric are alchemist brothers. As it turns out, the plot is centered on two brothers searching for the mythical philosopher’s stone. They seek the philosopher’s stone after failing to resurrect their mother using alchemy.
Critics and fans gave it mixed reviews when it was released in 2017. Sadly, the film only grossed around eight million dollars in Japan, making it a box office failure. However, a cult following developed around the film, especially after Netflix started streaming it. Several elements of the original manga will incorporate into the film, particularly those in the first four volumes. With these final two films, fans will finally be able to find out how the story concludes.
