After his spectacular performance at the season 17 semi finals of America’s Got Talent, on Tuesday night, Aug. 9, Drake Milligan is a household name. With every increasing popularity, fans are eager to know about his personal life as well.
Drake was born in Texas. He grew up listening to country music and was deeply inspired by Merle Haggard, and an Elvis impersonator. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee during his senior year of high school.
Since he has been in the limelight there hasn’t been any significant news of his dating someone. Looks like he is as single as one could be. There had been some rumors that Drake is seeing a model recently, but the news isn’t verified by any sources. His social media
handles also don’t mention or show any evidence of his current relationship status or previous relationships. Right now all his focus is on his growing music career.

Right now, he is one of the top contenders in the TV show. On Tuesday night’s episode of America’s Got Talent, he won over the crowd and judges through his performance. He sang one of his original songs from 2021, “Kiss Goodbye All Night” alongside a five-piece band. That performance not only got the audience on their feet, cheering and vibing along but also got him a standing ovation from the judges. His newest fan is the judge of the show himself, Simon Cowell. Cowel declared the song as the “the best performance of the night.” He told Drake how much he respected him for returning to compete after the success of his audition.
It is to be mentioned that the 24-year-old auditioned with his original song, “Sounds Like Something I’d Do”, which soon hit number one on the iTunes country chart. The performance also earned him four very enthusiastic “yes” votes from the judges.
Earlier this week the Stoney Creek Records/BBR Music Group artist Milligan has announced to his 48.5K followers on Instagram that his highly-anticipated debut album, Dallas/Fort Worth, is going to come out on September 15.
The 14-song collection, produced by the iconic Tony Brown and songwriter/producer Brandon Hood, will centrally focus on Drake’s Texas roots throughout, with a neo-traditional sound and authentically country storytelling center stage. Excited to make the announcement, Drake said in the press release, “As a lifelong country music fan, it has been my dream to make a full-length record that pays homage to traditional country roots, while still bringing new sounds and energy to the genre.”
