Stream Now: ‘Make Me Say It Again, Girl’ by Ronald Isley & Beyoncé is Out

She has a new collaboration out today. Ronald Isley, one of the Isley Brothers, has shared “Make Me Say It Again, Girl,” a remake of “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2)” which appears on the Isley Brothers’ 1975 album The Heat Is On.

Isley first mentioned the collab in a Variety Interview last year, and its release seems like good timing considering all of the Beyoncé activity these past few weeks.


Who is Ronald Isley?

American recording musician, composer, record producer, and sometimes actor Ronald Isley was born on May 21, 1941. Isley is most known for being the lead vocalist and founding member of the Isley Brothers, a musical family.

As a matter of fact, Isley was the third of six brothers: O’Kelly Isley Jr., Rudolph Isley, Vernon Isley, Ernie Isley, and Marvin Isley, who was born to Sallye Bernice and O’Kelly Isley Sr. in 1941.

Like many of his siblings, Ronald started his professional life in the church. Isley started singing when he was two years old and won a $25 war bond for it at the Union Baptist Church’s spiritual competition.

In 1960, Isley wed Margret Tinsley, and their daughter Tia Isley was born in 1969.

Certainly, He wed the vocalist Angela Winbush in Los Angeles, California, in 1993.But, Early in 2002, they divorced amicably.

As a result, Isley stopped the Isley Brothers tour in 2004 after having a small stroke in London. His son Ronald Isley, Jr, was born in December 2006 after he wed background vocalist Kandy Johnson of the JS/Johnson Sisters combo in September 2005.
