Angelica Carrasquillo Torres, An Indiana Teacher Got Arrested for Giving Death Threats to Students

An Indianapolis Teacher Angelica Carrasquillo-Torres has been taken under custody for allegedly making a ‘kill list’ of students and school colleagues.

This 5th-grade teacher revealed this to one of her students who later reported it to the school principal.

St. Stanislaus School officials called the teacher who admitted this deed afterward. Later, she was asked to leave. After four hours, East Chicago Police Department was made aware of the whole scenario.


Angelica Carrasquillo Torres– A 5th-Grade Teacher Made A Kill-List

Angelica Carrasquillo Torres admitted to making a kill list of students, staff, and the principal. Also, she told one of her students about the existence of such a list.

Torres also disclosed to the student that he/she was at the bottom of the said list.

According to the police, at 12:45 pm, this student reported the conversation with the teacher to the principal office. The student also told that Angelica Carrasquillo planned on killing herself along with the students and staff as well.

The Teacher Was Asked To Leave The School Premises

The teacher– Angelica Carrasquillo Torres was immediately summoned to the Principal’s office by the principal and assistant principal. Wherein, she confessed to making such a list with the intent of killing.

After this, Torres was asked to leave the school premises and not return until the investigation ensues.

East Chicago Police Department Statements

On Wednesday, the East Chicago Police Department was made aware of the case and actively began their investigation. As per the statement-

“At approximately 12:45 p.m. a 5th-grade student told his/her Counselor that their 5th grade teacher made comments to him/her about killing herself, students, and staff at St. Stanislaus School. The teacher further told the student that she has a list and that he/she was on the bottom of that list.”

After the notification, the Chicago Police came in contact with the Criminal Investigation division. Police immediately took an action and obtained an emergency detention order from Lake County Prosecutors Office.


There are various other shocking revelations coming from the case. Angelica Carrasquillo Torres also admitted to having a specific student on her list.

“During the conversation the teacher named a specific student on her list, but did not provide the list.”

After acquiring the detention order, Torres was taken into the custody of the East Chicago Police Department at around 11:15 am on Thursday morning.

No further details are available regarding the case. The police is still investigating the issue actively.
