The Reveal of Bruce Springsteen And Patti Scialfa being Grandparents

Bruce Springsteen(72-year-old) and Patti Scialfa (68-year-old) couple are now grandparents.

Patti Scialfa revealed the news and shared pictures along with it on Instagram on Friday 15th of July.

The photos show the parents pushing a stroller and the child wearing pink hospital mitts.

The caption of the post read: “Walking the baby_. Lily Harper Springsteen (flower emoji)”.

Amy Aiello Lofgren commented on the post saying, “That is some big time good news Grandma”. Amy E Street Band guitarist Nils Lofren’s wife.

Granddaughter Lily Harper Springsteen is their son Sam Springsteen’s first offspring.

Bruce Springsteen and Patti’s eldest son Evan was born in 1990. The following year, Patti gave birth to their daughter Jessica in December, after the couple’s wedding in June. And finally, in January of 1994, Sam their youngest son was born.

Evan Springsteen has followed in his father’s footsteps and is pursuing a career in music.

Jessica Springsteen is working as an equestrian. She has represented the United States Equestrian Team in competitions and grabbed silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Sam previously worked for several departments, including his hometown department of Colts Neck Fire Department.

Moreover, Bruce confessed that despite his fame as a rock legend, his children showed a “healthy disinterest” in his music.

He revealed this in a 2017 interview with The New York Times. He said, “They had their own musical heroes, they had their own music they were interested in”.
