A family goes through heartbreak as a family member of theirs, Rob Brown an experienced dies in an unavoidable tragic accident.
The mountaineer took his last breaths on Ben Navis on July 29th while climbing the North Face of Scotland’s tallest peak.
Soon after that Rob’s Facebook page had a message which talked about his sad and tragic demise. It said, Rob was eager to spend the lovely day in the mountains, which he enjoyed doing the most during his free time.
It further continued to talk about the accident, the accident was a tragic one that was far from difficult to be avoided. Through the message his friends and family wanted everyone to know that he had a quick and painless death.
It continued by saying, everyone was left devasted since Rob left the world, while he had his life ahead and such a promising future.
The message further said, that they would be soon hosting a celebration for Rob’s life in the coming weeks and would be sharing plans and a date when they can.
It ended with, ”It would mean the world to all of us if you knew Rob and could join, to help share your memories and stories of him”.
Family Pays Tribute To Rob Brown
The Facebook message received lots of attraction with people flooding the comments section to convey condolences.
”Absolutely heartbroken to lose such a colorful, amazing, and much-loved friend” was a comment shared by Craig Mcdonald.
Si Cherret gave their condolences by saying, ”Such sad sad news. An amazing man, a true gentleman. My sincere condolences to his family and everyone who ever had the pleasure to have met him”.
Another FB user commented, ” Rob was always such a larger-than-life character, full of fun and never failed to inspire me every time I met him. A true loss”.
Rob’s neighborhood resident Malcolm Airey paid homage to him by saying, ” Such terrible news. Rob was one of the most compassionate, selfless, sensible, and amiable people I’ve ever met. A void that will always exist in the community of Fort William. The rescue team, Eilidh’s family, friends, and climbing partner from that day are all in our prayers. Rob, may you rest in peace”
Before his passing away, Rob, originally from Cambridge was living in Fort William.
Rob’s father showed how proud he was of his son through his comment, which said, ” This is so difficult I am proud of my wonderful son”.
A spokesperson for Scotland Police said, they received a report of a man having fallen at Zero Gully. Ben Navis, which was around 11:15am on a Friday morning.
The 33-year-old mountaineer ran a Ben Nevis travel agency, his body along with his belongings was rescued by The Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team. They stated that there were no unusual suspicious circumstances regarding his passing away.
The rescue team had a difficult and challenging time in the past few days, they said, ” It’s been an extremely hard few days for the team and we’d like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who’s supported Rob’s family and friends in this difficult time”.
