Who was Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart?

Born on February 8th, 1995, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart’s real name was James Henry Neidhart. he was an American wrestler. He was quite a name in the late 1980s and 1990s. It is not wrong to term him a legend of his time. He was the Greatest Of All Time. Earlier known by the name of “The Animal”, Jim earned his nickname “The Anvil” in 1983 after succeeding in an anvil toss at the Calgary Stampede, throwing it 11 feet, 2 inches. Before he came into this field of wrestling and WWE, he earned quite a good name in Shot Put as a teenager. In the early 1970s, he earned good respect as a shotput player in California.

He was suffering from  Alzheimer’s disease in his last days. He had been a victim of lifelong addiction as well. This all was documented by his daughter Natalya’s series on Total Divas reality series. After the legend passed away in August 2018, he was given respect by adding his name to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 with Bret Hart.
