Luke Bell, A Country Singer Found Dead in Arizona After Going Missing For a Week

After being reported missing for more than a week, country music singer Luke Bell’ body was discovered in Tucson, Arizona. There he passed away at the age of 32. Bell was found deceased on August 29 after going missing before August 20.

The singer for Glory and Grace’s body was discovered nine days after he was last seen, according to police. Matt Kinman, a friend of the musician, confirmed the information. According to police, the reason for death is currently unknown since the inquiry is ongoing.


Who is Luke Bell?

Luke Bell grew up in Cody, Wyoming, after being born in Lexington, Kentucky, on January 27, 1990. Bell traveled to Laramie for college in 2008 after finishing high school, where he started playing in a pub band.

As he developed his craft at the Hole in the Wall pub in Austin, Texas, the aspiring musician met musicians like Mike and the Moonpies, Leo Rondeau, and Ramsey Midwood. The musician also worked with Price, Alabama Shakes, and Langhorne Slim, and supported Willie Nelson and Dwight Yoakam.

Luke Bell dies at 32

According to The Sun, the Tuscon Coroner’s Office has determined that he passed away on August 26, 2022, and the inquiry is still ongoing.

The Hold Me singer’s friends were concerned about him, as he had not been seen or heard from since August 20. The news of the singer’s death was confirmed to Saving Country Music on Monday by the musician’s friend Matt Kinman.

Bell traveled to Tucson with musician Matt Kinman, who remarked: “We came down here to Arizona, to work down here, perform some music, and he just took off. He was in the truck’s back. I entered to purchase a meal. When I emerged, he had already exited the truck and was gone.”

The artist’s caregiver for many years, Kinman, also asserted that Bell had bipolar disorder and had lately switched the medicine he took to manage his condition.


Tribute to Bell through Social Media

After the news spread, Bell’s musical peers paid tribute to him online.
Joshua Hedley took Twitter to burst out his feeling saying, “Man…Luke Bell…what the f—k. RIP to a real one. Been a long time since I saw him, and I was just talking about him the other day wondering what he’s been up to.” Hedley also said how sad the night was for country music.

As part of her condolences, Margo Price wrote, “Goddamn, rest east to our dear friend, Luke Bell.”
