A 56-year-old Nancy Hauck from Utah has shared that she volunteered to be a surrogate for her son and daughter-in-law’s child as she was not able to get pregnant after going through a hysterectomy.
Nancy Hauck Carries her Son’s child
Nancy Hauck, 56 is carrying her son’s child through surrogacy. This is because her daughter- in- law was unable to conceive due to hysterectomy surgery.
Her son Jeff is 32-year-old and daughter-in-law Cambria is 30. They have suffered for a long time owing to infertility issues. It took them six years before conceiving their first twins. Fortunately, the couple is blessed with two pairs of twins — Vera and Ayva, Diseal and Luka. The former set is 3 now while the latter is 11 months old.
Still, Jeff is fond of parenting and expanding his family tree so they decided to have more children. His mother, Nancy, offered to help carry a baby for the couple. However, they were skeptical about the age issues.
Green Flag From Doctors
Nancy shared that she had a feeling, she would go for it. She consulted Doctor who told her that she was healthy to conceive a child.
The family started the procedure and had the Embryo transferred in her successfully. The treatment was completed in February. Nancy is due to give birth on November 5, this year. The whole family was on cloud nine.
“I never imagined I would be pregnant at 56 or that this would be possible, but it is the most beautiful thing.” Nancy expressed.
Son And Daughter-in-law Are Grateful
Daughter-in-law Cambria had gone through a life-endangering Hysterectomy after giving birth to two sets of twins. It was impossible for her to carry another child. It is a surgery that removes a woman’s uterus.
Moreover, she had two sets of twins through IVF Treatment. So, the couple decided to have another child through surrogacy. They had frozen embryos that could be implanted into a surrogate. This is where their mother offered the same.
“It is so humbling that Nancy is doing this for us. She is sacrificing so much for us, and our family, and we just feel so grateful.” Cambria said.
Nancy’s son Jeff felt in awe of her mother for what she is doing for them. He is in awe of her kindness, dedication, love, and strength.
Nancy Hauck is going to give birth to a healthy baby girl due in November. We wish nothing but health and happiness to them.
