HGTV’s new series ‘First Home Fix’

Starring Raisa and Austin, HGTV‘s new series is all about helping homeowners build their homes without using a lot of money.

Raisa is an artist and designer who creates unique spaces, relying on color, design history and the love of nature. Austin is a master builder and woodworker with a passion for incorporating one-of-a-kind pieces into every project.

In each of the six episodes, the imaginative design duo help these new homeowners hone their lackluster first place with sweat. They are able to do so with clever design decisions, and boundless creativity. In the first episode, Raisa and Austin help two homeowners. They each have a $50,000 renovation budget and are in dire need of personalization. Meet Derek and Juliet, a couple who can’t seem to let their home reflect their personality. Other than that, and Cassie and Glenn, new parents who rushed to buy a home before their son’s birth.

With the help of Raisa and Austin, the two first-time owners receive a meticulously designed and personalized home they never dreamed of.

Raisa Kuddus and Austin Coleman’s relationship explored!

Austin Coleman, better known by his surname Daniel Coleman, is a popular American BMX rider. U.S.-born Austin Coleman started his career as a BMX rider. He is one of the most famous BMX riders of his generation. 

Austin Coleman was born in Los Angeles, California to Freddie and Jeanette Coleman. Austin has been involved in the sport since he was a child. He started skateboarding at the age of 10 until his older brother got his BMX bike. His freshman year as a professional was his senior year of high school. He was a keen student. Austin continued his academic and professional sports career while simultaneously attending the University of Southern California. On an academic scholarship he earned a degree in urban planning. Furthermore, he graduated in May 2006.

In 2021, Austin co-hosted Fresh Starter, where he and partner Raisa Kuddus helped young clients create bespoke renovations using only what they had to offer.

In the series, the duo will “work in a vintage VW van that doubles as a design office,” according to a press release. Kuddus clarified. The couple celebrated the news with a matching Instagram post.
