Jermell Charlo Says He Will Never Fight With His Brother and Boxers Should Learn from Paul Brothers

There are bigger fights in store for Jermell Charlo than Jake Paul in the future. This evening, the ‘Iron Man’ will make a rematch of their July 2021 battle between Brian Castano and himself. Despite El Boxi’s efforts, they could not secure a win at the beginning of the match. The match then ended in a controversial split draw. Charlo can once again consolidate his status as an iconic face of Showtime Boxing by winning this fight. Recently, in an interview with TMZ Sports, he was asked what he thought about another face of the brand.

Jermell Will Never Fight With His Brother

There is no reason to expect Charlo to be involved in Jake Paul’s next bout. Even though he has boasted about wanting to face a top boxer soon. It has come to the attention of ‘The Problem Child’ and Logan Paul that he and his brother would be fighting each other someday.

Jermell Charlo has always supported Jake Paul and Logan, despite not wanting to fight them but believing that they are suitable for the sport. In the boxing community, the Paul brothers have remained some of the most controversial figures. Some deem these two bouts a joke on the sport. While others, such as Oscar De La Hoya, believe that they are bringing a lot of success to the sport.

If you ask Charlo to choose a band, it would be safe to assume that he would choose the Paul brothers. While he seems to have dissed fighting the brothers in a past interview, he also offered some very nice compliments to the two during that interview. According to Jermell Charlo, boxers can learn a thing or two about how to promote themselves from the brothers. But Jermell will never fight against his brother.

Jermell Charlo Says Boxers Should Learn from Paul Brothers

The Paul brothers aren’t on the same level as the Charlo brothers just yet, according to Jermell, who admits he’s a fan of what the bro thers are doing in the sport right now.

They’re doing what legacy makers are doing. Also, they’re doing what they have to do. They’re keeping on going in boxing and on YouTube. I think the Paul Brothers will continue doing what they’re doing in boxing and making big money from that.”

Logan and Jake could teach other fighters a lot, Jermell says. In recent years, the Paul brothers and mainly Jake have dominated the boxing world. Jake is 5-0 in his professional career.

After defeating fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, Jake went against slam dunk champion Nate Robinson. During the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. undercard, Paul flatlined the 5’8″ hooper, which led to his popularity exploding.
