Mahomes leads the team to win

Through eight games this season, Mahomes has led three comebacks of 10 points or more to defeat the San Francisco 49ers, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Las Vegas Raiders.

In the divisional round of 2019, Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were down 24-0 to the Houston Texans. In the franchise’s history, they have never overcome such a disadvantage.

The Chiefs selected Mahomes in the first round of the 2017 draught after moving up in the standings, and they then dealt veteran Alex Smith the following season to create a place for Mahomes as the opener.


In each of the previous four seasons, Mahomes has put the Chiefs among the top six scoring teams in the league.

With 30.4 points per game right now, they are leading the league.
