Viewers are curious to know where Marcellus Wiley is and if he’s still on Speak for Yourself after missing the recent show.
Why is Marcellus Wiley Missing from Speak for Yourself?
At the time of writing (August 16, 2022), Marcellus Wiley is on vacation with his family. On August 11, he uploaded a video of his kids and his wife to Instagram, writing, “I got all the F’s on my report card! Faith, fatherhood, family, friends, football, fun.”
Five days later, he posted a video of himself shooting some baskets while supposedly still on vacation.
Is Marcellus Wiley still on Speak for Yourself? Well, not for too long. The New York Post reports that Marcellus Wiley has left Speak for Yourself and his future with the network is uncertain.
The outlet claims Fox Sports has made Wiley an offer for another role on the network, but it’s currently unclear if Wiley will accept the deal. As Wiley thinks about his future, he seems to be enjoying a much-needed vacation with his family.
Meanwhile, The Herd co-host Joy Taylor appeared on Speak for Yourself alongside former NFL linebackers Emmanuel Acho, David Hellman, and Bucky Brooks.
In July, The Post reported that there had been serious talks about a long-term pairing between Acho and Joy Taylor. It looks like the network is currently experimenting with this formula. Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy is also rumored to join them in the near future.
It remains to be seen where Marcellus Wiley will end up and whether he will accept Fox Sports’ offer for another role.
